GoClearcut (ABN 69 835 715 740), trading as GoClearcut ("we", "us"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we handle it, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in thePrivacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We only collect what we need. Depending on how you deal with us, that may include:

• your name, business name, email address and phone number;
• your website address, Google Business Profile link and social media handles, when you request an AI Marketing Snapshot;
• anything you choose to tell us in a form, email or call, such as your marketing goals or frustrations;
• information about how you use this website, collected through analytics (see below).

How we use it

• to prepare your AI Marketing Snapshot and talk it through with you;
• to reply to enquiries and deliver the services you engage us for;
• to send you The ClearCut newsletter, only if you ask to receive it (you can unsubscribe at any time);
• to understand which pages are useful and improve the website.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for anything unrelated to the reason you gave it to us.

AI Marketing Snapshot data

To prepare a Snapshot we review publicly available information about your business, such as your website, Google Business Profile, social media and advertising, alongside what you tell us in the request form. Snapshot reports are shared only with you. We keep Snapshot information only as long as it is useful to our work with you.

How we use AI tools

GoClearcut uses AI tools to help with research, analysis, drafting and automation. Where client or enquiry information is processed with an AI tool, we use business services that do not use your data to train their models, we share only what the task needs, and a person reviews every output before it is used or published.

The chat assistant on this website is powered by an AI model. Please don't share sensitive personal information in the chat. Messages are processed to generate a reply and are not used to identify you.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use this website. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner; if you decline, Google Analytics runs without cookies and cannot recognise you between visits. We don't use advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run our business, including website hosting (Vercel), email delivery, spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), analytics (Google) and, where relevant, our email newsletter platform. Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We only share what each provider needs to do its job.

Keeping it secure

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and delete or de-identify it when we no longer need it.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by emailingjo (at) goclearcut (dot) com.au. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
